Performance and Prevention
"I am not really injured"
Believe it or not, you are the exact person we want to work with.
Most people wait until they are injured to see a physical therapist. But true wellness isn't just about recovering from setbacks, it's about building resilience for the long term.
You wouldn't drive your car for years without an oil change or tire rotation. Your body is the most important vehicle you own, and it deserves the same (or better) proactive care. Our Performance & Prevention Program is designed for athletes, active adults, and anyone who wants to stay doing what they love, without the disruption of preventable injuries.
Why Wait for an Injury?
Pain is usually the last symptom of a movement problem. Long before your knee aches or your back goes out, there are subtle signs: a slight loss of mobility, a minor muscle imbalance, or a compensation in your stride.
By prioritizing ongoing maintenance, we can catch these potential issues early, correct them, and optimize your movement so you can perform at your absolute best.
Program Benefits
Catch Issues Early: We identify and correct minor movement dysfunctions before they turn into painful, debilitating injuries.
Optimize Performance: Whether you are running marathons, lifting heavy, or just want to keep up with your kids, we help you build resilience and strength.
Stay Out of the Clinic (And in the Game): Our goal isn't to keep you in rehab; it’s to give you the tools and routine maintenance you need to stay active and healthy on your own terms.
FAQs
We are not your traditional physical therapy clinic. We created Renew Physical Therapy in order to be help people be proactive with their health and performance goals.
Think of your body as a complex machine. Over time, daily wear and tear, intense training, or even prolonged sitting can cause parts of that machine to run sub-optimally. When one area isn't working right, another area works overtime to compensate, eventually leading to a breakdown (injury). Ongoing maintenance allows us to "tune up" your body, saving you the pain, time, and money associated with a severe injury and a long rehabilitation process.
Your specific program is tailored to your body's unique needs and your physical goals. While it varies from person to person, ongoing maintenance typically includes:
- Comprehensive movement and mobility assessments
- Hands-on manual therapy to improve joint and tissue health
- Customized corrective exercise programming
- Advanced recovery techniques such as dry needling and cupping
- Direct access to your physical therapist for questions and guidance
No. Meaningful physical adaptation takes a little time, so we require an initial short term 4-month commitment. This allows us to establish a solid baseline, implement effective interventions, and see real, measurable progress. After those first 4 months, your program becomes completely month-to-month. You are free to cancel at any time with no long-term contracts holding you back.
